SunGard iWORKS Prophet

Support arrangements for Germany, Switzerland and Austria

11 May 2006

As a temporary arrangement Deloitte has continued to provide helpdesk services to Prophet customers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria since SunGard acquired the iWORKS Prophet business from Deloitte on 31 October last year. SunGard has now put in place UK and German based support to cover all of the helpdesk needs of our German, Swiss and Austrian clients. The new helpdesk has German speaking staff and a good knowledge of the German libraries, and will come into effect from 15th May 2006.

The arrangements will be as follows:

  1. UK based support using a German helpdesk number +49 69 70768 400 and a German fax number +49 69 70768 401. These numbers will be automatically forwarded to Andrea Bush in the UK. Andrea has been heavily involved in library development for the German market since SunGard acquired iWORKS Prophet, and is a fluent German speaker.

Clients will also be able to use the standard helpdesk number if they prefer: +44 1932 757555. If clients wish to contact the helpdesk by email then they should use the normal Prophet Helpdesk email address - prophet.helpdesk@sungard.com - and their helpdesk query will be forwarded on to Andrea to deal with.

  2. Local support based in Frankfurt. We have recruited Tomasz Lipinski to work in our Frankfurt office, with a planned joining date of 3 July 2006. Tomasz has about 2 years experience of working with Prophet in the German market. As part of the transition, Tomasz will initially spend time with the Prophet team in the UK in order that he can learn about our helpdesk and development processes. It is anticipated that he will be based in SunGard’s Frankfurt office by the end of July to provide clients with local helpdesk support. He will also be responsible for developing the actuarial libraries for the German market, working closely with the library developers in the UK.

When Tomasz is settled, clients will be notified of his direct contact details and he will endeavour to contact all of our German, Swiss and Austrian clients individually.
