Our Management Team

J. P. James is the Chief Operating Officer for iWorks EMEA, Risk Management, and Core Policy Solutions. He is responsible for supporting our customer base and our solutions for our Enterprise Risk Management business throughout the Globe. He has been with SunGard for seven years, and worked within the Insurance industry for approximately twenty years. He enjoys running, tennis, and time with his family.

Martin Sarjeant is Head of Development for iWorks Prophet. Martin is responsible for the Prophet product and for the actuarial and systems development teams globally.  Prior to his current role, he was Head of Asset Development for iWorks Prophet and has spent many years working on the asset capabilities of Prophet.  Before joining the Prophet team 12 years ago, Martin worked for a large UK insurer where he implemented Prophet for product development and valuations across an entire business unit. He also set up an automated policy review system utilising Prophet for endowment and reviewable term and whole of life policies.

James Williams has been the Chief Financial Officer for iWorks Prophet since 2006 and has been with SunGard since 2003. He has over 20 years of financial experience in the technology sector and has held prior positions with Portal Software and DSC Communications.  James is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Christopher Wakeling is the Global Head of Services for iWorks Prophet. Chris is responsible for the delivery and support of all Prophet client projects including new implementations and also both the Prophet Helpdesk and the Prophet Managed Hosted Service. Chris has a long history of managing large delivery teams within the Financial Services arena and has previously managed multi-million dollar implementation projects for tier one life companies on a global basis. In his spare time, Chris enjoys travelling and swimming.

Petra Wildemann is the Global Director of Actuarial and Solvency II Consulting Services for iWorks Prophet. Petra has extensive international experience in the insurance industry, delivering large-scale global business and transformation programs with Accenture, FJA and IBM and insurance customers worldwide. Prior to joining SunGard, she worked for 6 years at Hewlett Packard as the Worldwide Director for the Insurance business. Outside of work, Petra enjoys golf, skiing and the natural world.

Grant Dewar is Senior Vice President of Sales for iWorks EMEA and heads up the sales operation for Prophet. He has over 25 years of experience in financial services, initially working in the banking sector with Dow Jones and Thomson Financial before moving into the insurance sector. Grant has significant industry-based risk management experience gained through managing global accounts at SAS, Towers Watson and co-founding his own software company.

Mark Brown is the Head of Actuarial Systems for iWorks Prophet. Mark is responsible for the actuarial systems development, focusing on delivering structural solutions to business problems. Mark has a long pedigree in actuarial software, with over 10 years working passionately for major consultancies and software providers on a range of actuarial tools, including roles as technical advisor, lead architect and implementation manager. Prior to that, Mark worked for a major UK insurer doing, in his words, "a bit of everything". Outside of the office, Mark’s spare time is filled with archery and raising orchids.

Dave Gill is the Product Manager for iWorks Prophet. Dave is responsible for guiding the development of Prophet by understanding the market’s needs and feeding that into our strategy. Dave has used and supported Prophet from Release 1: on the Helpdesk, as a library developer and as a consultant for Bacon & Woodrow, Deloitte and SunGard. In the rare moments between working and looking after three young children, Dave likes playing with power tools, motor biking and being a bit of a ‘foodie’.

Neil Fenton (FIA) is the Head of ALM Development & Solutions for iWorks Prophet. Neil is responsible for the strategic direction and development of the actuarial libraries supplied with Prophet and works closely with customers to ensure that Prophet continues to meet their business requirements. He has over 15 years of experience in the actuarial field, including 7 with the Prophet team. He has ALM modelling experience across the UK and Europe, and has more recently been focusing on Solvency II and Enterprise Risk Management. He likes meeting people and travelling, especially to exotic locations.

Colin Wills is the Development Manager for iWorks Prophet. Before joining the Prophet team in 2002, Colin worked extensively in financial systems including six years working in Italy for Logica Finance. He was born in north London, grew up in Turin and Worcester, and studied Computer Science at Imperial College, London.  In his spare time, Colin takes regular trips back to Italy and enjoys bottling wine with the help of his young daughters.
