Prophet GI 2019 Q4 has been released with further enhancements to support ongoing IFRS 17 developing practices and an example framework and process for integration with the IFRS 17 Group Calculations library.

Key Enhancements

GI Capital Modelling

      • Continuing enhancements to support the IFRS 17 Standard; supporting projections of the Building Block Approach (BBA) General Measurement Model (GMM) and the Premium Allocation Approach (PAA) with and without interest methods.
      • Further enhancements to feed the IFRS Group Calculations library including example framework products and process.
      • A number of other improvements to the library improving the efficiency and ease of use, including:
        • Expense assumptions by line of business, global level and/or roll forward
        • Future dated new business specification
        • Profile and multiplier new business line of business assumption levels
        • Addition of allocation approach from accident year to underwriting year

GI Reserving

      • Continuing enhancements to support the IFRS 17 Standard; supporting projections of the Building Block Approach (BBA) General Measurement Model (GMM).
      • Further enhancements to feed the IFRS Group Calculations library including example framework products and process.
      • A number of small improvements to the library improving the efficiency and ease of use, including:
      • A number of small improvements to the library improving the efficiency and ease of use.
        • Standardised example approach for partial period triangles
        • Updated example DCS data processes
        • Addition of allocation approach from accident year to underwriting year

GI Curve Fitting

      • A number of small improvements to the library improving the efficiency and ease of use.
